Saudi judge said it's okay to slap your wife
Is there such a period when it's okay to slap your wife?
This news appeared on the same day as we celebrated the Mother's Days.
A friend sent me a 'padala' to his wife. I met the wife and here was our conversation.
(Wife opening the envelop containing some money) Only this?
Yeah.
Haaay...this will not be enough.
(I didn't say anything. I was actually thinking how ingrate the woman is! Seriously.)

Oh, sorry. I forgot to thank you. Can I send you a package for my husband when you return to Saudi? When's your departure?
Friday next week. (Of course, I didn't give her my real departure date. And I also didn't give her my correct phone number).
I'm glad I'm not married. If, in case, I am, and if, in case, I had a wife who spends so much than we can afford and who leaves my kids hungry just so she can buy a Hermes bag, I'll definitely return her to her mother. Seriously.

My take on the subject

Personally, I am always against domestic violence, I hate people who inflicts physical and mental pains to their wife and children. However, it is difficult to argue or put a debate on the issue of domestic violence on countries where it is sanctioned by their legal and religious laws.
And on that ungrateful Pinay, I pity her husband, I hope that their marriage lasts.
Natawa ako sa last part, yes, i guess that is more reasonable, return her mother, but don't allow her to bring the Hermes bag, we'll have it auctioned.

That's ridiculous judgment but you don't have a choice if that's their law....kinda weird though.

Nothing justifies slapping the wife. Nothing justifies any sort of physical harm. Slapping the a$$, well that's another story. :D
